SKYHAWK GLOWING WHITE/RED

Skyhawk is the latest generation off-road Helmet by KYT, made of Tri-Fibre composite, with a dynamic and performing shape. It’s been developed and optimized in the most famous tracks of the MX World Championship. The performance has been raised to the highest level to satisfy the needs of the most demanding riders and motorcyclists. Protection, ergonomics, weight and ventilation are the result of extensive studies and tests on track with the best riders.

Homologation

   

The helmet comes with ECE 22.06 and ISI certification.

Shell

   

The Shell is made of Tri-Fibre composite that allows a lighter but, more protective shell. The outer shell, made of tri-carboco fibre, a mix of kevlar, carbon and fibreglass with different weights / breaking loads linked up; with aramid resins ensure a lighter, safer and impact resistant shell. To satisfy even the most demanding and professional riders, the Skyhawk is made in 2 different shell sizes: M and L.

Protective Polystyrene

The internal polystyrene is made in 2 different sizes (M & L) to obtain the best ergonomics with different thicknesses. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the force generated by an impact. Although most of the energy due to an impact is absorbed by the outer protective shell due to its deformation, the role of the polystyrene is decisive for the absorption of the residual energy.

Ventilation

The air intakes are designed to increase internal comfort. The air flow is channelled into the inner shell through 4 large front openings protected by solid metal mesh. The internal polystyrene protection and comfort liners have been optimized to work in symbiosis with the large air intakes.

Inners

The inner liner and cheek pads are removable, washable and replaceable. They are made of bi-elastic fabric with specific fibres that offer the following characteristics:

1. Rapid evaporation of moisture from the liner.
2. Maintaining an optimal temperature.
3. Light, soft and breathable fabric.

Retention System

The retention system used is the 'Double D-Ring' in light alloy.
