KYT's experience in the Off-Road sector, a result of the collaboration with riders and specific analysis conducted about agonistic and amatorial uses of off-road helmets, led to the design of a new captivating shell. The analysis and the consolidated experience in the resinous and plastic materials developed over the years have led to the design of shells of different thicknesses with high impact resistance. The Jumpshot is made in a single shell size.
The Protective Polystyrene is produced in 1 size and has better ergonomics and a variable density. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by an impact. Even if the bigger part of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the external shell, thanks to its deformation, the role of the polystyrene is determinant for the absorption of the residual force.
The Internal polystyrene was studied to work in symbiosis with the air intakes on the external shell. Grooved channels in the polystyrene, permit air to flow in an optimal manner into the helmet and quickly exhaust out the hot air.
The cheek pads and the internal comfort liner can be removed, washed and replaced. They are made of soft breathable bi-elastic fabric with synthetic fibres, that offer a high sweat absorption, thereby keeping the rider fresh and dry. The cheek pads are easily removable and cheek pads with different thicknesses are available.
The retention system used is the ”Double D-Ring” in light alloy.
The peak has an elongated, protective profile and it can be easily adjustable to multiple positions without using tools. The screws are made of metal.
The weight of the helmet is approx. gr 1450 ± 50.
